Events

The Wisconsin Masonic Center is currently booking events for the years 2020 – 2022. The WMC is available for rent Monday – Sunday (multiple day events welcome). We have hosted multiple types of events for over 95 years. Listed below are a few of the events that have called us home for their special days. The WMC is creating a preferred vendor list to assist each group with its event planning needs. The WMC has been host to many groups such as UW Department graduations, GeekCraft Exp, ABC for Health, Alliance for Animals, World Wide Sires, the Dalai Lama, townhouse speeches, a Q&A with Packer legend Jerry Kramer, Dane County Humane Society, and more.

Banquets/Holiday Parties/Luncheons

The WMC has multiple areas that can host between 50 – 800 guests for a live performance. From Acoustic, vocal performances, DJ’s, and live bands, the WMC can keep the party going or allow your guests to sit back and relax. Food and beverage services available.

Weddings

The WMC is perfect for weddings between the size of 75-450. The WMC has FOUR ceremony options depending on the size of your group (Auditorium, 2 Lodge rooms, and Catlin Lounge). We also have 4 dining room options depending on the size as well (Small Dining Room, Catlin Lounge, Auditorium, and Ballroom). These unique areas and closeness to multiple hotels make the Wisconsin Masonic Center the perfect one stop shop for all of your wedding needs.

Quinceañera

Our 7,800 square foot ballroom is the perfect space to dance the night away as you celebrate the birthday girl! With a large dance floor, tall pillars that light up, time beforehand to practice your dance moves, and plenty of space for any size family. The WMC will help make your birthday a huge success!

Conference/Seminar

The WMC has 7 rentable areas split between 3 floors providing conference and seminar groups the ability to have multiple break out areas. Each room is or can be equipped with Audio and visual aids as needed. We also have onsite catering to make food and beverage planning for your group that much easier.

Trade Shows

Our ballroom is the perfect fit for trade shows such as craft fairs, art shows, small wedding expos, and chili cook-offs. Depending on the size of the booth, you can fit between 30-40 vendors in our 7,800 square foot ballroom. Also included is a separate quiet area for your vendors to have coffee or snacks.

Town Hall Meetings/Speeches

Our large Auditorium is perfect for large speeches up to 1000 in attendance through built in seating and seating on the floor. The Auditorium is fully equipped with handheld and clip on lavalier microphones for your speakers. We have tall podiums, couches, and small tables for your presenters to use as they captivate your attendees. We also have two smaller rooms with built in theatre style seating.

Fashion/Dance Shows

From large shows to intimate shows, the Auditorium and Ballroom are great to show off your students work or your own. The WMC has a separate green room and changing areas for your models to get dressed in.

Live Music

The WMC has multiple areas that can host between 50 – 800 guests for a liver performance. From Acoustic, vocal performances, DJ’s, and live bands the WMC has the ability to keep the party going or allow your guests to sit back and relax. Food and beverage services available.

Graduations

Let the WMC help you celebrate your students’ big day by walking across our large Auditorium stage to receive their diploma and celebrate with their families in the ballroom afterwards. We also have smaller rooms for smaller graduation ceremonies if you are looking for something more intimate.

Fundraisers

Your guests will be in awe of our spacious ballroom and Auditorium areas as they arrive to support your cause. The WMC has all the tables and chairs you need for a sit-down style event/reception as well as for displays/silent auction areas. Wi-Fi is also included with the use of any of our spaces.

A/V equipment onsite

Projector screens, built in and portable microphones, sound boards, and the ability for you to plug and play as needed. We also have external resources for additional needs.

Kavanaugh’s Catering

Kavanaugh’s Catering is our onsite caterer. Kavanaugh’s Catering can help you create a custom breakfast/lunch/dinner/appetizer menu for your event. Jackie Kavanaugh can be reached at 608-249-0193 for catering questions.

Item’s included with rental – tables, chairs, tableware, linens, security (when needed), Wi-Fi, parking, and building staffing.
